His name is Tim he was a husband, father, son, brother and business owner. He was our everything. He was admitted on 12/6/22. We took him in because his heart rate was elevated. When arriving at the hospital they shocked his heart and then he was transported to a bigger “Sister” hospital Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear AZ because he tested positive for Covid. While in there he was isolated, neglected, and put on 48 different medications. Including Remedisiver, Olumiant, Fentanyl, Morphine and many others. We had to call daily for updates as we camped outside his room. We never spoke to the doctor once while he was there including when he passed away.
He was never given food or water, feces on the bed, the catheter bag was full and backing up into the tube. His mask was a size small for his face. We asked for his steroid to be changed 3 times and it was never done. We asked for vitamin C and zinc intravenously and was told that’s something they cannot do. Hours before he passed away 6 of us were allowed in his room because his oxygen decreased. The hospital staff stood up against the wall as he decreased. No doctor was in there or called.
Then a nurse asked his wife if she would like to do comfort care. His wife, not knowing what that is, asked “ what is comfort care?” The nurse said we will give him something to make him comfortable and take off his mask. She said give him something to make him comfortable and calm his breathing down. They gave him morphine and his blood pressure bottomed out. Later on the medical records we learned that it said “Wife, children and father agree to DNR” he was not a DNR but he was a DNI. From the beginning. They treated him like garbage and they need to be held accountable. Within one week he went from running his business to dying in the hospital at their hands… he was only 48 years old.
