His oxygen level was 97% the day they put him on the ventilator. He should have never been put on one.
My husband has always been a healthy man.
Ineffective Medical Care
“Two days later the pain is back and we visit the ER for the second time.”
My husband tested positive for Covid on Sep 1, 2021. My husband has always been a healthy man. He was a construction worker. He had never been in the hospital and was very anti doctor. He had an episode in July 2021 with his stomach and was treated in the ER and they found he had lost blood through his bowels and he had to have a blood transfusion. He was supposed to follow up but after the transfusion he felt better. Once he got Covid the issue with his stomach flared up again. He made two trips to the ER for his stomach one on Sept 5th and the second on Sept. 7th. One the first visit he was given medicine for his stomach and sent home. Two days later the pain is back and we visit the ER for the second time. They did a CT Scan and sent him home with more medicine.
Malpractice
“My husband laid in bed for almost 3 weeks without anything to eat.”
On Sep 8,2021 a Dr. called and said the CT Scan had shown a hole in his intestines and he needed to return to hospital because it may require surgery to repair. Once admitted to the hospital they took my husband to the Covid floor and would not allow me to go. As soon as he was there they only wanted to focus on the Covid. My husband laid in bed for almost 3 weeks without anything to eat. Everyday was a fight with the hospital and a fight to try to see my husband. After 3 weeks I told them I was going to have him transferred somewhere else. They then returned my call and said my husband had agreed to go on a ventilator. I do not believe for one minute he agreed to that. I have found out now that I have his medical records that his oxygen level was 97% the day they put him on the ventilator. He should have never been put on one. My husband died Oct. 6th 2021. And I have more records of wrong doing by the hospital.
